The Rule of Thirds can be defined as a way to better perfect a picture from a more artistic angle. Centering a picture is fine, but it's also plain and makes a photograph not as interesting to look at. However, by using the rule of the thirds, you can have your main subject of the photo at an angle and more room in your picture to make it more attractive and less tedious.
