Surreal Practice Tutorials

This week we studied surrealism and did two tutorials to help us practice for our upcoming project. The first tutorial we did was the eye wall. We took a picture of a simple eye and turned it into a more abstract and artistic looking photo. The second one was a desert photo landscape with an lamp post that is out of place. At first, the desert landscape looked to much like an ordinary picture of the desert, but by adding the lamp post and scratchy star sky, we were able to turn this photo into something to look at. Both tutorials were fairly simple and are going to assist us in our surreal project because it taught us to think outside the box.
